
In Russia, at least 19 people were killed when a train collided with a bus in the east of Moscow. The accident occurred during the night near the city of Vladimir, about 110 kilometres east of the Russian capital.
The Moscow railway authority said in a statement that the train slammed into a passenger bus that had broken down on a level crossing. Region Interior Ministry said, all of the dead were onboard the bus. It said there are no victims among the train passengers. Russia’s Investigative Committee said it had opened an inquiry into the accident.
