Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has said it does not support any kind of violence linked to cow protection and demanded action against those found guilty. RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Manmohan Vaidya told reporters in Jammu yesterday that instead of connecting the violence in the name of cow protection with RSS, action should be taken against those who are found guilty. He said law should take its own course.
Mr Vaidya said, Gau Raksha is a different issue. The movement of Gau Raksha has been going on for 400 years. It is not that it has happened for the first time, he said. RSS leader said that the media is trying to connect it with a kind of ideology and opposition is trying to politicise the issue. The RSS’ three-day conclave in Jammu ended yesterday, the first such meet in Jammu and Kashmir since independence.
