Tiranga Yatra to Be Taken Out in Every Village and City of Chhattisgarh on May 17

A grand ‘Tiranga Yatra’ (Tricolor March) will be organized on May 17 in every village, town, and panchayat across the state under the ‘Citizens for National Security’ campaign. This march is being organized with the resolve of citizen participation in the country’s security, ensuring the participation of public representatives to common citizens.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy Chief Minister, and Ministers of the state will themselves participate in this statewide march. MPs, MLAs, District and Janpad Panchayat Presidents, members, and Panchayat representatives and other public representatives have also been invited to this event. The march will be led by a banner titled “Citizens for National Security” and the official logo of “Operation Sindoor” will be prominently displayed. The main attractions of the march will be large banners like “We are with the Army” and “Nation with Operation Sindoor,” which will awaken the feeling of patriotism in the minds of citizens.
On this occasion, people will hold placards praising the contribution of the country’s armed forces, paramilitary forces, and conveying messages of India’s victory, thanks to the armed forces and soldiers and their families. A special request has been made to include ex-servicemen, family members of soldiers, school students, NCC, NSS, Scouts, and people associated with social organizations in the march. District administration and panchayat representatives have been instructed to ensure that the march is peaceful, disciplined, organized, and enthusiastic. Patriotic songs will be broadcast through announcement vehicles along the route of the march, and citizens will chant patriotic slogans. As a special attraction, long tricolors will also be part of the march, with an appropriate number arranged. Special preparations have been made to ensure that all participants in the Tiranga Yatra hold the national flag.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that “This Tiranga Yatra of Chhattisgarh will not only strengthen the feeling of patriotism but will also be an effective example of citizens’ participation in national security.” He added, “Through Operation Sindoor, the message will reach every village that national security is everyone’s shared responsibility. This event is an exemplary effort that will strengthen the enthusiasm of the people of the state, respect for the armed forces, and the spirit of national unity. Chhattisgarh will unite on May 17 to set an example of the country’s security and unity.
