ISRO chairman asks Antrix Coperation to improve export of space products and services

The Chairman of Indian Space Research Organisation, ISRO, A S Kiran Kumar has asked antrix corporation, the commercial arm of ISRO to take advantage of ISRO capabilities to improve export of space products and services. He was speaking at the silver jubilee celebration of antrix corporation in Bengaluru today. He pointed out that many private players have now entered this field offering space tourism apart from reduction of small and nano satellite.

Speaking on the occasion former Chairman of ISRO, Dr. K Radhakrishnan informed that antrix corporation with a turn over of 2000 crore rupees holds just .123 per cent of 260 billion US dollar space market. He asked antrix corporation to improve its marketing capabilities and grab at least one percent of global market by 2030.
