Swearing-In Ceremony of Newly Elected Kumhari Municipal President and Councilors Held in the Presence of Deputy CM Arun Sao

Raipur, March 5

The swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected President and Councilors of Kumhari Municipality was held today in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Urban Administration & Development, Shri Arun Sao, as the chief guest. MLA Shri Domnalal Korsewada also attended the event. The ceremony took place at the Government Primary School located in Bazar Chowk, Kumhari, where SDM Shri Mahesh Rajput administered the oath to the newly elected President Smt. Meena Verma and the councilors.

Deputy CM Shri Arun Sao congratulated the newly elected Municipal President and Councilors and extended his best wishes. He expressed hope that the new municipal team would work actively to develop new facilities for the residents of Kumhari and strive to keep the city clean and beautiful. He assured that the state government would provide all possible support in these efforts.

Following Smt. Meena Verma’s oath-taking, a total of 24 councilors took the oath in groups of six. The newly elected President, Smt. Meena Verma, expressed her gratitude to all the guests and residents of the city. The newly elected representatives pledged to work together for the development and prosperity of Kumhari.

The event was attended by a large number of citizens, including former Parliamentary Secretary Shri Siyaram Sahu, other dignitaries, and local residents.
