Swarnaprashan administered to 3,934 children at Ayurveda College Hospital

Raipur, March 10

On the auspicious occasion of Pushya Nakshatra, Swarnaprashan was administered to 3,934 children at the Government Ayurveda College Hospital in Raipur. Additionally, 800 children received Swarnaprashan kits, and 350 children were given Bal Raksha kits. These kits were provided to the college by the All India Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi.

Director of the AYUSH Department, Ms. Iffat Ara, distributed these kits to children and their parents at the Ayurveda Medical College. She also personally administered Swarnaprashan to the children. The event was attended by the college’s principal, Dr. G.R. Chaturvedi, Registrar of Chhattisgarh Ayurvedic Medical Council, Dr. Sanjay Shukla, and the hospital’s in-charge superintendent, Dr. Aruna Ojha, along with several faculty members.

Dr. Lavkesh Chandrawanshi, the coordinator of the Swarnaprashan program, stated that Swarnaprashan is administered at the Ayurveda College Hospital on every Pushya Nakshatra date for children aged 0 to 16 years. It is highly beneficial in enhancing immunity, digestion, memory, physical strength, and disease prevention. Health check-ups are also conducted for the children receiving Swarnaprashan. As part of this initiative, nearly 4,000 children were administered Swarnaprashan today.
