Super Specialty Hospital will start soon in Jagdalpur: Health Minister Jaiswal

A super specialty hospital is being constructed in Jagdalpur as per the wishes of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai to improve health facilities in the Bastar region. With this super specialty hospital being built in front of Jagdalpur Medical College, people of the Bastar region will get the facility of state-of-the-art treatment.
Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal today inspected the medical college, Maharani District Hospital and the under-construction super specialty hospital in Jagdalpur and directed the officials to complete the under-construction hospital and to arrange CT scan, MRI and other medical equipment soon to start this hospital.
Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal directed the officers to provide residential arrangements for the doctors and other paramedical staff of the Super Specialty Hospital. He also directed to expand the children’s ward of Late Shri Baliram Kashyap Medical College Hospital and to appoint an operator for proper operation of CCTV. He also took stock of the neonatal intensive care unit, children’s ward and surgical ward in Jagdalpur. He inquired about the hospital facilities from the patients and their families who came to the hospital.
Health Minister Shri Jaiswal inspected the OPD, IPD and ICU of Maharani District Hospital and Maternal and Child Health Hospital and interacted with the patients admitted in various wards. He inquired about the hospital facilities along with the free medicine scheme from the patients and their families. Shri Jaiswal inspected the cleanliness, slip counter, helpdesk counter, maternal and child center, labor room, CT scan center and various wards in the hospital. Took stock and inquired about the availability of medicines at the hospital’s drug store. During this, MLA Chitrakot Shri Vinayak Goyal along with many public representatives and senior administrative officers and other doctors and officers were present.
