Strict Action Will Be Taken Against Officials for Erroneous Entries Made Through Their Login in Revenue Records: CM Sai

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has stated that officials or employees will be held accountable for errors in revenue records. If any incorrect entry is made through an official’s login, strict action will be taken against them. He gave these clear instructions during a review meeting held in Raigarh under the Good Governance Festival.
The Chief Minister emphasized to officials that public trust in the administration should not be shaken due to errors in land, farming, or other important documents. For this, it is essential to make the revenue system more accountable. He directed revenue officers to keep close supervision over the process of error correction.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister expressed dissatisfaction over the long-pending Lat Nala Irrigation Project and ordered its early completion. He also directed that all pending projects under the Atal Irrigation Scheme be completed on priority. Furthermore, he instructed the lifting of restrictions on land registration in the 26 villages falling under the Gomarda Wildlife Sanctuary area.
Chief Minister Sai asked officials to regularly visit rural areas so that minor issues can be resolved promptly. He stated that with the districts now being smaller, officials should take time to visit as many villages as possible. He also directed that farmers should face no inconvenience in obtaining fertilizers and seeds. In light of a potential shortage of DAP fertilizer, he asked that farmers be informed about alternative options. He encouraged promoting crop diversification among farmers.
Discussing pre-monsoon preparedness, the Chief Minister instructed hospitals to maintain an adequate stock of anti-venom medicines to tackle snakebite cases. To prevent outbreaks of diseases like dengue and jaundice in the Raigarh Municipal Corporation area, he urged the corporation and administration to remain vigilant. Taking serious note of complaints regarding illegal liquor trade in the plains districts, he directed strict enforcement action. He also emphasized the need for special surveillance to stop the illegal movement of liquor in border areas adjoining Odisha.
The meeting also included in-depth discussions on topics such as silk production, groundwater level improvement, tourism development, road repairs, and the promotion of Jan Aushadhi (generic medicine) centers. The Chief Minister stated that all public representatives and officials are servants of the people, and public welfare must remain their highest priority.
