Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu has stressed upon developing Hindi in consonance with various dialects of the nation.
Addressing the Joint Hindi Advisory Committee meeting of urban development ministry in Guwahati today, Mr.Naidu said that schemes like Make in India and Digital India would become successful if linked with Hindi.
The minister said that Hindi must be developed along with mother tongues. Mr. Naidu said that people in North East are well versed in Hindi.
As per information received, for the first time the meeting has been held in North East region. Mr.Naidu also released a compendium of words translated from English to Hindi.
