UP CM Yogi seeks probe report on JPNIC, HAT, stadium projects

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has sought probe reports on the alleged misuse of money on the construction of Jaiprakash Narayan International Centre, International Cricket Stadium and beatification of Husainabad area in Lucknow during previous Akhilesh Yadav government.

After a meeting with the Housing and Urban Development departments, Mr Adityanath said, when large number of people are unable to get basic civic amenities misuse of funds is not acceptable.

He asked Housing State Minister Suresh Pasi and Sports minister chetan Chauhan to submit their reports after conducting investigation as soon as possible. The Chief Minsiter said asked officials to provide houses to the beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Ava’s Yojana on priority basis. He has sought a detail working plan for the development of slums in urban areas.
