Noted technocrat Sam Pitroda has resigned from Odisha government’s technical advisor post.
Pitroda, who enjoyed the status of a cabinet rank minister as technical advisor to Odisha government had sent his resignation letter to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik was accepted by the later last evening.
Pitroda was recently appointed as the Chairman of Congress’s overseas department. The State unit of BJP had been demanding his ouster for his alleged involvement in the National Herald issue. Pitroda, a year back had joined Odisha government as its Technical Advisor.
