The Supreme Court has asked the Punjab and Haryana High Court to decide in ten days the anticipatory bail pleas of three Ryan International Group trustees in a case in which a seven-year-old boy was found dead in the group’s Gurugram-based school.
A bench, headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra, yesterday passed the directions on a plea moved by the boy’s father challenging the extension of the interim protection from arrest granted to the three trustees.
The Haryana government had recommended a CBI probe in the matter following outrage. The premier agency took over the probe on 22nd September.
