RJD supremo Lalu Prasad appeared before a special CBI court of Ranchi yesterday in connection with a fodder scam case. The case relates to illegal withdrawals of fund from Deoghar treasury in the 1990s.
The special CBI court will hear the matter again today. Prasad would also appear before the Court in two other fodder scam-related cases — relating to illegal withdrawal of three cores and 13 lakhs rupees from Dumka treasury, and illegal withdrawal from Doranda treasury of Ranchi.
