In Jammu and Kashmir, in yet another incidence of ceasefire violation along the Line of Control, Pakistani forces resorted to heavy firing and shelling in Naushera sector of Rajouri district today.
Defence sources told media that the forces across the Line of Control started unproved firing and shelling targeting Indian posts and civilian areas around 8 this morning. The troops guarding the borderline retaliated the firing and gave a befitting reply.
Intermittent exchange of fire is still continuing. Heavy mortars, automatics and small arms are reportedly used in firing. No report of any causality or injury to the Indian side so far.
