A team of National University of Study in Research in Law (NUSRL) was recently declared best in the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) law mooting competition.
Informing about details, SK Sinha, Internship and Placement Officer of the law cradle said that the India round of this Mooting Competition was held from October 18 to 20 at Llyod Law College, Noida which saw a participation of 46 contingents. The SAARC round is scheduled at Delhi in the month of February, 2020.
The team comprising of Sameer Gupta, Puja Jakhar and Rahul Ranjan participated in the 5th NR Madhava Menon SAARC LAW Mooting Competition, 2019-20 (India Round) qualified bearing Rank 1 for the International Round. The team also bagged the award for Best Memorial. Sameer Gupta bagged the Best Mooter award. Sinha added that the University team shall be representing India and will be competing against teams from the SAARC Nations.
