In Maharashtra, one person died and five others were injured when a three-storied building collapsed in Bhiwandi in Thane today morning. An 18-year-old woman died and five others were injured in the incident that occurred at around 8:30 in the morning. Rescue and relief operations are underway.
Two fire engines and 10 ambulances have reached the accident site. Two NDRF teams have also reached the site.
The injured have been admitted to nearby a hospital.12 persons are still feared to be trapped under the debris.
