In Bihar, 11 people died and eight injured after lightning struck them at different places in the state over 24 hours. Casualties have been reported from Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Supaul, Bhagalpur, Madhepura and Purnia districts of the state. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has express grief over the death and asked the officials to ensure proper treatment of those injured in the natural disasters. Meanwhile, Met department has forecast thunderstorm accompanied by squall over isolated places in Bihar and Gangetic West Bengal for today and tomorrow.
