In Jammu and Kashmir, a former Sarpanch belonging to the ruling PDP was killed in a terror attack in Shopian district on Monday, while the deceased’s family members killed one of the terrorists in a scuffle during the attack.
Police official said, three terrorists fired upon and killed ex-Sarpanch of PDP Mohammad Ramzan in Shopian. He said the family members of the deceased entered into a scuffle with the attackers in which one of the terrorists was killed.
The slain terrorist has been identified as Showkat Ahmad.
