Curfew-like restrictions continued in parts of Kashmir for the second consecutive day today.
The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to maintain law and order following the killing of a terrorist Sabzar Bhat in an encounter with security forces. Bhat was commander of a terrorist organization, Hizbul Mujahideen.
Though there were few stone-pelting incidents in some areas of the valley yesterday, the situation remained under control.
Meanwhile, Kashmir University has also postponed all examinations scheduled to be held today and tomorrow.
