Ranchi, June 14
Umesh Chandra Mehta, former Vice Chancellor of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University (DSPMU) and former Principal of Marwari College, today inaugurated the one-year diploma course in Digital Photography and Film Making in Marwari College.
He said that since he was the DSPMU VC, he had the idea to open this course as it is the need of the hour and is beneficial for the students. GP Verma, Principal in-charge of Marwari College highlighted the popularity of the course and assured all possible help to take it forward.
The Dean of Marwari College, Student Welfare Vrindaban Mahato said that the techniques that students need to learn today will be taught here. This will benefit the students and they will be able to earn their own livelihood. Controller of Examinations Vaidyanath Kumar said that despite the Covid pandemic, efforts would be made to conduct all the examinations of this course on time.
Course Director Sushil Kumar Ankan said that in the age of digital documentation, the importance of this course would have increased immensely due to which the possibilities of self-employment are made more for those studying this subject.
