JVM Shyamali student clinch 4 medals at Shooting Competition

There is a saying that keeps your hands on the target, not on the target. In keeping with the same saying, Saras Kumar, a student of class XII of Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shyamali, won four medals in shooting and won his success.

He baged four medals in the 11 Jharkhand State Rifle and Pistol Championship competition organized at Deoghar by Deoghar Rifle Association, under Jharkhand State Rifle Association (JSRA). He won the gold medal in the individual competition of the men’s category in the 22 rifle junior of 50 m prone. At the same time, in the 10 meter air rifle ISSF youth competition, he won the silver medal by taking second position. Simultaneously, in the junior category of the men’s category of 10 meters air rifle ISSF, showing his exact marksmanship, took third place and won the bronze medal. Also, in the Senior category of the men’s category for10 meter air rifle ISSF, he competed and won the bronze medal by taking third place.

Kumar showed his infallible and accurate target by winning one gold medal, two silver medals and two bronze medals. Principal Samarjit Jana expressed his happiness over this success.
