Jharkhand to follow ‘Health Safety Week’ with strict Covid guidelines

Chief Minister Hemant Soren, while addressing the people of the state on Tuesday, said that it is absolutely necessary to break the chain of Covid-19 in Jharkhand to prevent its growing infection.

Jharkhand is a poor state and it has been our priority from the beginning to save both life and livelihood. Keeping the above in mind, it was decided that ‘Health Safety Week’ will be followed by everyone from 06 AM to 06 PM on from April 22 to 29.

By breaking the chain of Covid-19, it can be controlled. Because of this reason, all other shops will be closed except shops for essential items, all offices except the identified offices of Government of India, State Government and private sector will remain closed. Agriculture, industrial, construction and mining activities will continue.

Religious places will remain open but the presence of devotees will be restricted. No person shall leave his house apart from for permitted works. Gathering of more than five people anywhere will be prohibited. The Chief Minister said that Coronavirus infection will be prevented only with public participation. In such circumstances, all denizens are requested not to leave the house except for the urgent work.
