The two-day walk-in drive of ‘Anchor Quest by Zee Media’ organized by Amity University Jharkhand (AUJ) concluded on Friday .
This time Zee Media came up with a unique program called Anchor Quest to identify talented, qualified, and fresh anchor faces from PAN India.
As many as 100 students from various educational institutions and media houses of India participated, informed Abhijeet Beltharia, Assistant Manager – Placement Amity University Jharkhand.
Notably, Zee Media Corporation Limited (formerly Zee News Ltd.) is India’s one of the largest News Networks with 14 news channels in six different languages touching more than 220 million viewers and digital properties like Zeenews.com and dnaindia.com.
The eligibility criteria for freshers and experienced candidates aged between 18 to 35 years. The Subject Matter Experts from any domain like Technology Defence, Finance, Automobile, and Health were also eligible to participate.
The skills required were good communication skills – Bilingual preferred, they should be proficient in at least two of the following language – English, Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, Urdu, Gujarati, Bengali & Odia, and must have strong knowledge of current affairs, along with being presentable.
Amity University Jharkhand Vice-Chancellor (Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha, Prof. (Dr.) Ajit Kumar Pandey and Registrar Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi conveyed their best wishes on this occasion.
