The Amity School of Engineering & Technology, Amity University Jharkhand organized an Open House for Diploma Students recently. The focus of the event was to encourage lateral admission into the second year of the B.Tech (Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical & Automation Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Computer Science Engineering). The highlights of each department, including placements, laboratories, and other items, were presented. After the event, a lab visit to all Engineering departments was also arranged. The target audiences of the same were diploma students of various institutions.
Dr. Ashok Kumar Shrivastava, Senior Director, Amity Education Group motivated and guided the students about career counseling sessions, and boosted their confidence and faith by answering students’ queries. He added on about the future scopes and placement of the students.
Prof. (Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand addressed the gathering and said “The importance of education in life is immense. Only education can take us forward in life, and if correct guidance is available, the sky is the limit. Students at Amity University Jharkhand have a 47 lakh package due to the guidance and exposure provided by the faculty members.”

Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi Registrar, Amity University Jharkhand praised the efforts of Amity School of Engineering & Technology and stated “ If students want to get the right direction in life they can benefit by attending the career counseling sessions by the experts at Amity University Jharkhand”.
The other speaker of the event Dr. Pravin Kumar Singh Program leader of MAE at AUJ talked about the training and internship opportunities for MAE students at Tata Steel and Tata Power, Indian Space Research Organization, NASSCOM, and MSME recognized by the Government of India.
Similarly, Dr. Sarita Kumari Program leader of ECE, Dr. Subhadeep Chakraborti Program leader of CE & Mrs. Kanika Thakur Program leader of CSE at AUJ highlighted the various placement, and internship opportunities, and qualitative as well as practical aspects available for the students at Amity University Jharkhand.
