A historic day was marked by Amity University Jharkhand on Monday by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Central Silk Board (CSB)-Central Tasar Research and Training Institute, Ranchi moving forward with the vision and mission of Amity University Jharkhand’s Founder President & Chancellor.
The signing of the MoU took place in the benign presence of Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi, Registrar, Amity University Jharkhand, Dr. K. Sathyanarayana, Director, CSB- Central Tasar Research and Training Institute, Ranchi, Dr. Onkar Nath Singh, Vice Chancellor, Birsa Agricultural University, Prof.(Dr.) Vikas Mishra, Director, Engineering & Applied Sciences, Amity University Jharkhand, Dr. Jay Prakash Pandey, Scientist-D, Dr. J. Binkadakatti, Scientist-C of CSB-CTTRI, Ranchi in the CSB-CTTRI, Ranchi campus.
It formalizes mutual interaction and strengthens the research culture of both Amity University Jharkhand and CSB- Central Tasar Research and Training Institute, Ranchi, at the strategic and working levels.
Dr. Ashok K. Srivastava, Pro Vice Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand conveyed his best wishes for the beginning of the new relationship.
Notably, Amity University Jharkhand and CSB-Central Tasar Research and Training Institute, Ranchi, have announced a new cooperation agreement to strengthen basic and applied research & to foster human resource capacity building in the frontier areas of Tasar Silk Biotechnology Research as well as to the establishment of replicable models of micro-entrepreneurship, across the Tasar value chain, community-driven producer institutions & tissue culture, Nanotechnology.
Amity has established high-end Research Centres in diverse domains of Biotechnology, Applied Science, Technology, Management, and Liberal Arts. These centers are striving to commercially scale up innovations to find solutions to some of the most pressing issues affecting the world.
