In the second day of the ongoing three-day Fourth Annual Youth Cultural Fest ‘Amiphoria 2022’, of Amity University Jharkhand (AUJ) at Harivansh Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium, Mega Sports Complex, Khelgaon on Saturday pass out students recalled the nostalgic moments in the first ever Alumni Meet.

Harshit Chitlangia of MBA 2017-19 batch from who was Mr. Fresher of his batch and AUJ Captain said, “AUJ has taught me a lot which in turn helped me in organizing several events successfully. AUJ offers vocational skills beneficial in facing the professional industrial world.”

KVS Gautam from B.Tech 2016-20, Amity University Jharkhand said this is the only Amiphoria when I am not anchoring. When you join Amity your world completely changes.

Blessing the alumni, Prof. (Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha, Vice Chancellor, Amity University, Jharkhand said, “All that you do will create real auras for all of us. Amity University Jharkhand will be altogether different if you only consistently follow your confidence and the faculty members which will lead you to be a leader.”

“All faculty members work as your fathers and mothers. Teachers don’t expect much from you. If you follow them, you will gain a lot. Success is about meeting those who were right from your childhood. The values that we keep giving is the most important for you, and your success in society,” he added.

Prof. (Dr.) Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director, Amity University, Jharkhand said, “In 365 days there is a day called Amiphoria when the energy of youths of AUJ starts flooding and converting everything in the form of energy visible here.”

Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi, Registrar, Amity University, Jharkhand conveyed his blessings on this occasion.

Assistant Directors of Amity University Jharkhand quoted it as a nostalgic moment. The umbilical cord is not cut and will not be cut ever.

Various cultural performances were presented by current and passed out students on this occasion for the Amity University Ranchi Alumni Association (AURAA). Guests from Amity University Patna and Chandigarh were present on this occasion. One of the alumni Angel M Tirkey who became Miss United Nations Earth was applauded here. Best Placement Awards were given to Avneet Singh from MBA 2016-18, Rahat Parvez from MBA 2017-19, KVS Gautam from Computer Science 2016-20, and MD Ramish (2017-20) batches.

Among the events held today, LT 71 was declared the winner in Battle of Bands while GOG ESPORTS won BGMI. Ayush Raj bagged the first position in Funk from Junk and No Way Out won in Valorant.

The fest will conclude on Sunday after the finals of various sports events and electronic dance music wherein Olly Esse will be performing.
