
Centre Government’s Special Representative on Jammu and Kashmir, Dineshwar Sharma today visited Talwara area of Reasi district and interacted with the militancy affected families of Jammu region putting up in the migrant camp there.
Mr. Sharma listened to the issues of the Jammu migrants and took stock of the amenities available in the camp. He is scheduled to meet various political, social and other delegations in Jammu this afternoon.
Before leaving for Kashmir Valley tomorrow, Mr Sharma will visit the people living in the areas along Line of Control and International Border to take stock of their issues.Yesterday, Dineshwar Sharma called on Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and Governor NN Vohra in Jammu and discussed various issues on the current scenario of the state and the recent confidence-building measures taken by the Centre for the state.
Mr Sharma also visited Jagti Migrant Township in Nagrota in the outskirts of Jammu city and met with the Kashmiri Pandit migrants there.
