So far, 394 candidates are in the fray polling for the 68-member Assembly will be held in a single-phase on the 9th of next month. The state election department has declared a holiday in the state on the day of polling.
The counting of votes will be held on 18th December along with Gujarat, the poll schedule for which was announced by the Election Commission in New Delhi yesterday. The 182-member Gujarat Assembly will go to polls in two phases on 9th December and 14th December.
