Gujarat celebrates its 58th foundation day today

Gujarat is celebrating its 58th foundation day today. The state level celebrations will be held at Bharuch. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani will attend various programmes in Bharuch. The CM will inaugurate the Sujalam Sufalam Yojana from Komsadi Talav.

He will also inaugurate Shuklatirth Safai Abhiyan and plant a sapling. Mr Rupani will perform Bhoomipujan for developmental works worth 40 crore rupees for pilgrimage development. The state government has decided to celebrate the state’s foundation day in all district head quarters along with one state level celebration.

Two states Gujarat and Maharastra were formed from erstwhile Bombay state on this day 1960.
