
BJP’s Goa unit would launch the Sankalp Se Siddhi Abhiyan during August 9 to 30 which would involve programmes at the booth, mandal and district levels.
The campaign would mark 75 years of the Quit India Movement and is a step towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of building a New India by 2022, when the country will celebrate 75 years of independence.
In a statement, the party said the programmes were finalized at a meeting of state office bearers today.
Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar stressed on the importance of the campaign to revive the spirit of nationalism. He said that the Prime Minister’s initiatives in the past three years have earned respect for the nation.
He added that nationalism should be an instrument to build a glorious India in the next five years.
