BJP President Amit Shah will kick off Gujarat Maha Sampark Abhiyan from Naranpura in Ahmedabad today.
State BJP spokesperson IK Jadeja told reporters in Gandhinagar that the Abhiyan will be held till Sunday.
He said, party leaders and Union Ministers including Smriti Irani, Nirmala Sitaraman and Prakash Javadekar will participate in the campaign and spread the message of the party in the poll-bound state.
Meanwhile, senior Congress leader and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is also visiting Ahmedabad today.
He will deliver a lecture on the current situation of the Indian economy and address a press conference at the party headquarters.
As per information received, BJP leaders and workers will try to reach house to house during this campaign. Party’s top central leaders will also join this five day long state wide campaign.
BJP president will visit Saurashtra and South Gujarat later today to address the party workers and organizational in charges.
Congress has organized a lecture of party’s senior leader and former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Shingh in Ahmedabad. Dr. Singh will also address the press conference at Congress state office.
