Amit Shah attends Gujarat assembly, lambasts Congress ‘misrule

BJP president Amit Shah today participated in Gujarat assembly proceedings in the capacity of a party MLA in the house and lambasted opposition Congress for its earlier ‘misrule’ in the state.

Speaking in the house, Mr. Shah who is a BJP MLA from Naranpura seat of Ahmedabad has said that the safe passage of Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in Ahmedabad was not possible during the earlier Congress rule.

Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his agenda of development, Amit Shah said that Gujarat has seen all round development during his long rule as chief minister of Gujarat. Claiming that BJP will win overwhelmingly in the coming state elections, Mr. Amit Shah said that the journey of development started in Modi’s rule will continue.

As per the reports, BJP President Amit Shah had participated in the house proceedings after a gap of more than two years. Last time, he had attended the house on 16th March 2015. The current Budget session of Gujarat assembly will end tomorrow.
