Aam Aadmi Party has announced retired Major General Suresh Khajuria as its candidate for Gurdaspur Lok Sabha constituency, where bypoll is scheduled on October 11. The 64 year old Army man hails from Bungal village of Pathankot district. He is also the vice president of the ex-servicemen cell of the party. The seat fell vacant after the untimely death of BJP MP Vinod Khanna.
