Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has said that the state government will announce the biggest ever loan waiver in the state’s history by 31st October this year. Speaking to reporters in Mumbai yesterday, Mr. Fadnavis said while the modalities of the loan waiver are still being worked out; the scheme will benefit almost 1.07 crore farmers with less than five acres land holding.
