Bihar: Death toll in rain related incidents rises to 31

In Bihar, death toll in rain related incidents has gone up to 31. The state government has announced an ex-gratia of rupees four lakh each to the next of the kin of those who were killed in natural calamity.

Expressing grief over the incident Chief minister Nitish kumar has instructed affected districts to assess caused due to hailstorm.

According to Met office, thunderstorm coupled with rain is likely to continue in Purnia, Bhagalpur, Darbhanga, East and West Champaran districts of the state because of cyclonic circulation over Bihar.
