A major fire breaks out in a chemical factory in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh, police said on Monday. However, no casualties to human lives were reported in the fire but initial reported revealed that livestock have been charred to death.
As per information received late on Sunday night, a major fire broke out in a chemical factory located in Pandav Nagar industrial area.
On being informed about the fire incident, fire brigade swung into action and dispatched as many as 12 firefighting vehicles from neighbouring and Ghaziabad into the task of dousing flames flaring high in the air. Although, the rescue task turned tough due to gusty wind but firefighters managed to douse flames.
Moreover, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team has also been pressed to the rescue task and rescue people trapped inside the factory.
