Haryana police has arrested two persons – Sumit and Vikas in the 23-year old woman gangrape and murder case at Rohtak. The woman was reportedly gang-raped, her head smashed with a brick and a vehicle run over her before the body was dumped in Rohtak this week.
According to police, woman was allegedly kidnapped from Sonipat on 9 May and taken to Rohtak in a car. The victim’s parents had lodged a missing complaint at Sonipat police station. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal called the crime unfortunate.
