Cabinet passes Lord krishna’s town Mathura-Vrindavan as Nagar Nigam

In Uttar Pradesh, All round development of the temple city Ayodhya and Mathura will be made to attract devotes and tourists. This was decided in a cabinet meeting of the state government where it announced the Ayodhya- Faizabad as a municipal corporation-Nagar Nigam. The meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Cabinet also passed Lord krishna’s town Mathura-Vrindavan as a Nagar Nigam.

After cabinet meeting, State Energy Minister and Spokesperson Shrikant Sharma and Health Minister Siddhartha Nath Singh, in a joint press conference said that there is faith of millions of people towards Lord Shri Ram and people from across the country and abroad come here . He said to develop Ayodhya and its surrounding areas the government decided to make it municipal corporation.

Shri Sharma told that after the formation of a Municipal Corporation,infrastructure will increased along with increase in employment there . He told that in Mathura and Vrindavan also millions of people come from all over the world.

To strengthen the infrastructure and to purify the Yamuna and to facilitate local residents and pilgrims, it has been decided to make Mathura and Vrindavan together to form a municipal corporation. AIR correspondent reports that there are already 14 Nagar Nigams in state and after two new more Nagar Nigams total number comes to 16 Nagar nigam .
