Two Maoists were killed in the wee hours today in a police encounter near Kudukamal forests under Belpara block of Bolangir district in Odisha.
Acting on a tip off, security forces had launched a combing operation in the forest.
The Maoists were gunned down in an exchange of fire between police and the ultras.
Police sources said the combing operation is underway in the forest area.
