In Rajasthan, after the strike by in-service doctors of the state entered the seventh day, the government has decided to hold talk with doctors’ association, today afternoon.

More then a dozen doctors have been arrested under the Rajasthan Essential Services Maintenance Act (RESMA). However, few of the protesting doctors have resumed their services.

The health services in the state have badly affected due to doctor’s strike. Health services in medical colleges too have been paralyzed after about 1500 resident doctors joined the strike on Friday.

The government claimed that alternative arrangements have been made to treat patients. Army, Railways, BSF, CGHS and private hospitals under the Bhamashah scheme are providing health services to the public.
