Congress today continued its attack on BJP over Chandigarh stalking case. Talking to reporters outside Parliament, party leader Kumari Selja alleged that since the accused is related to the ruling party, the issue is not being taken up as seriously as it should be. He said it is not a small issue as Haryana BJP Chief’s son is involved in it.
The daughter of an IAS officer has alleged that there was an attempt to abduct her by the son of BJP leader. Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amrinder Singh said no one should be protected in the case and alleged that there is an attempt to cover up.
Meanwhile, BJP MP Subramanian Swamy has said he will file a PIL in the court over Chandigarh stalking case. Talking to media outside Parliament, he said he will raise the issue of alleged inaction by Chandigarh Police. He said, if necessary he will also demand a CBI probe into the incident.
