The Indian team had on Friday lost to Ireland, 2-3 in their final round-robin match to bow out from the race of bagging a medal.
India ended the round-robin stage with 3 defeats, 1 draw and just 1 win from 5 games, finishing 5th in the 6-team table with 4 points.
Ireland was 6th with 3 points, as they lost 4 and won just 1 game.
