The Indo-Czech pair of Sania Mirza and Barbora Strýcová has entered the finals of the women’s doubles at Miami Opens Tennis tournament.
The third seeded pair defeated fifth seeded duo of Martina Hingis and Chan Yung-Jan 6-7, 6-1, 10-4 in the semifinals. Sania and Barbora will face unseeded pair of Gabriela Dabrowski and Xu Yifan in the final, who earlier beat fourth seeds Peng Shuai and Andrea Hlaváčková in their semifinal match 7-5, 5-7, 10-7.
In the Mens Singles of the tournament, Roger Federer beat Australia’s Nick Kyrgios 7-6, 6-7, 7-6 in the semi finals. In the other semi finals, Rafael Nadal beat Fabino Fognini of Italy in straight sets. Federer and Nadal will clash for the title tomorrow.
