India Under-19 team beat Sri Lanka by six wickets in the first Youth ODI of the five match series in Colombo yesterday. Skipper Nipun Dananjaya’s decision to bat backfired as the hosts failed to put up a fight against quality bowling by India, folding for a paltry 143 in 38.4 overs. In reply, India achieved the target of 144 runs in 37.1 overs, losing just four wickets.
