
India will take on Bangladesh in the final of the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Under-15 Women’s Championship on Saturday.
In the first semifinal, at Thimpu, Bhutan, today, India defeated Nepal 2-1. For India, Lynda Kom and Kritina scored one goal each. Rajani Thokar scored the lone goal for Nepal.
In another semifinal, Bangladesh beat Bhutan 5-0. Three goals were scored in the first half and two in the second half.
This is the second edition of the Championship. Bangladesh had won the inaugural edition last year, beating India, 1-0 in the final played at Dhaka.
