He became the second batsman to score a century in career’s 200th ODI after South Africa’s AB deVilliers. Dinesh Karthik scored 37. For New Zealand, TA Boult claimed 4 wickets for 35 while T G Southee got 3 wickets giving away 73 runs. Today’s day and night match is the the first of the three-match ODI series.
