
India today thrashed Bangladesh by 240 runs in a warm-up match in London ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy. Chasing a target of 325 runs, Bangladesh were bundled out for just 84 runs. Umesh Yadav and Bhuvneswar Kumar rattled the Bangladesh batting order.
Earlier, invited to bat first, India made 324 for 7 against Bangladesh in a practice match in London. Dinesh Karthik top-scored with a 77-ball 94, while Hardik Pandya remained unbeaten on 80 off 54 balls. Opener Shikhar Dhawan also made a useful 60 off 67 balls. India will now face arch rivals Pakistan in their tournament opener on June 4 at Edgbaston.
