The 36th edition of National Games will be held next year from November 4 to 17. Sports Authority of Goa has finalised dates of the Games to be held after a lot of delays. There was uncertainty over the dates of the 30-discipline event ever since the Games were awarded to the State in 2011.
The Games were originally scheduled to be held in November 2016 but the Goa administration requested a postponement at the Indian Olympic Association’s Annual General Meeting due to assembly elections in the State.
