SIT formed to investigate murder of journalist Mukesh Chandrakar

An 11-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted under the leadership of IPS Mayank Gurjar, Additional Superintendent of Police, Bijapur, to investigate the murder case of journalist Mukesh Chandrakar, as directed by the Inspector General of Police, Bastar Range Sundarraj P.
It is worth noting that a crime has been registered in the Bijapur police station regarding the murder of journalist Mr. Mukesh Chandrakar.
The SIT includes IPS Mayank Gurjar, Additional Superintendent of Police, Bijapur, Ms. Ruchi Verma, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dantewada, Mr. Sharad Jaiswal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Bijapur, Ms. Geetika Sahu, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Bastar, Mr. Durgesh Sharma, Inspector In-charge, Bijapur Police Station, Mr. Virendra Srivastava, Inspector In-charge, District Special Branch, Bijapur, Mr. Chandrashekhar Shrivas, Inspector In-charge, Farsapal, District Dantewada, Mr. Rizwan Ahmed, Inspector, Protected Center, Bijapur, Mr. Gaurav Tiwari, Inspector, Range Cyber Police Station, Jagdalpur, Mr. Mukesh Patel, Sub-Inspector, Bijapur Police Station, and Mr. Vivekanand Patel, In-charge, Cyber Cell, Bijapur.
The SIT has been instructed to conduct a thorough investigation into the case and submit a daily progress report to the Superintendent of Police, Bijapur, which must be forwarded to the office of the Inspector General of Police, Bastar Range.
In essence, the police have formed a special team to thoroughly investigate the murder of journalist Mukesh Chandrakar and bring the culprits to justice.
