An 11-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted under the leadership of IPS Mayank Gurjar, Additional Superintendent of Police, Bijapur, to investigate the murder case of journalist Mukesh Chandrakar, as directed by the Inspector General of Police, Bastar Range Sundarraj P.

It is worth noting that a crime has been registered in the Bijapur police station regarding the murder of journalist Mr. Mukesh Chandrakar.
