Shah pays tribute to martyred soldiers

Raipur, December 16

Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, on the second day of his Bastar visit, paid homage to the martyrs at the Amar Jawan Vatika in Jagdalpur.
He offered floral tributes at the Amar Jawan column, paying homage to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the Naxal operation.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma were also present on the occasion.
On this occasion, Union Home Minister Shri Shah planted a tree under the ‘Tree for Martyrs’ campaign. He planted a peepal sapling in the premises.

The Chief Minister also planted a Rudraksha sapling in the premises in memory of the martyrs.

Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah expressed his views in the visitor’s book after paying homage to the martyred soldiers at Amar Vatika today. He wrote that the country will forever be indebted to the sacrifices of the security forces.
